This was my first trip to Qingdao, China. It was both different from the rest of China and surprising. Surprising because of the German influence that’s present around the city. It really was the perfect location! Mountainous backdrops coupled with the China sea and the ocean. I later learned that I was the Yellow River instead.
I didn’t explore the city as much as I usually do when I travel but I’ll be back in September and October so there’ll more in-depth analysis to come!
And also, there were so many weddings happening around the Yellow River. Apparently, Qingdao is the world’s #1 destination for weddings. There were literally tens of couples everywhere taking pictures while others waited for a chance to take pictures at specific landmarks.
